When most of us think “superheroes” we often think of DC comics or Marvel, two comic book universes which revere superheroes as gods amongst men who were brought to save humanity from impending doom. “The Boys” definitely does not depict its heroes as such.

It's no secret that for the past few years Disney has been making live action versions of their greatest animated classics, the ones we all sat down and watched as kids. Some of these include “Cinderella,” “The Jungle Book,” “The Lion King” and “Aladdin.” The next movie on the docket is “Mulan.”

Brandon Flowers, lead singer of the band The Killers, recently had a move from Las Vegas to Utah. Throughout the move, his wife had a hard time dealing with her mental illnesses. Flowers and the band took these events and made them into their 6th full-length album, “Imploding the Mirage.”

Netflix’s newest original movie, “I’m Thinking of Ending Things,” is certainly not what I expected it to be. I didn’t watch any trailers going into this one, I simply read the description provided by Netflix and started my viewing.

For the few who don’t know who BTS is, here is a short introduction. BTS is a seven-member Korean-Pop group from South Korea. They have sold out stadiums all around the world, including in America. Their upcoming tour already has sold out dates, even before the release of their new album. 

Ruling the indie-pop genre at the moment, Beach Bunny fittingly released their debut album on Feb. 14. The Chicago-based band is known for their emotional, love-sick “sad-girl” pop music and their hit break-out song “Prom Queen.”

On Jan. 24, the third chapter, or season, of “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”came out on Netflix and, of course, I binge-watched all eleven episodes. 

The much-awaited second chapter of the romantic comedy trilogy, “To All The Boys I Loved Before: P.S I Still Love You” was released on Feb. 12th on Netflix. It serves as a reminder to viewers that amid the chaos in the world, fairy-tales still can come true.
